biography

Kera was a stillborn until his parents sought out Seiryu's aid in giving him life. The "Azure Dragon" gave him his blessing and Kera was born anew. This in turn turned his eyes and hair bright blue. His eyes glow brighter when he's feeling stronger feelings either good or bad. The spiritual connection with Seiryu had allowed Kera to act as his avatar when a humanoid would not frighten others. While other dragoons have taken eyes from dragons with coercion, Seiryu's blessing allows Kera to perform all the same abilities as other dragoons. All his weapons have also been imbued with the snake god's power.Kera's family has always been the emissary of their tribe in the Steppes to Doma. He has fond memories of running around the castle as a child and the doting king. He didn't think much of the fact that "Uncle Kaien" was actually the king. When Doma was invaded by the Garlean Empire and heard of Uncle Kaien's passing, Kera found himself grieving immensely. When the young Crown Prince Hien was born, Kera found himself becoming the big brother that he never had. When Lord Hien sought out to retake Doma, Kera was right beside him lance in hand. It was Kera's connection to the Steppes that made Hien's request more palatable to the other Xaela tribes.The residents of Sui-No-Sato are typically Raen, however one Xaela family has made this underwater town their new home prior to the Garlean invasion of Doma. Kera's parents as merchants had information of the imminent invasion and grabbed everything they could carry and brought it with them to Sui-No-Sato. The rest of their tribe of Dalamiq either stayed behind or resettled on the shores of the Ruby Sea. The decision to relocate to Sui-No-Sato was to allow Kera to stay spiritually connected to Seiryu.Kera's trusty Shiba Inu Miso is always somewhere close by. The Xaela has always wondered why his shiba seems to not have aged and lived longer than his life expectancy. For as long as Kera could remember, Miso has been there in his childhood and even now in adulthood the two are inseparable. Nothing delights the Xaela more than just watching his doge bounce around. Recently Kera discovered that Miso was able to grow in size and give him rides in the open world.(Continued WIP)
